SUMMARY:Building STEA²M Summer Break Camp 2022
DESCRIPTION:The Building STEA²M Summer Break Camp 2022 will be held weekly at New Prospect.  The camp will run from Monday\, June 6th until Friday\, July 22nd from 8:30 am – 3:00 pm.  The camp will not be active the week of July 4th – 8th.  The cost is $150 per week\, per child. There is a $25 registration fee per child. To pay online\, please click here to open our SecureGive page. \nEach week is based on a theme and will include grade-level appropriate\, hands-on design challenges focused on STEA²M (Science\, Technology\, Engineering\, Art\, Agriculture\, and Mathematics)\, coding and robotics. There will also be chess\, yoga\, and gardening. Campers will be expected to complete a Sustainability Project. Augmented Reality and 3D printed will be incorporated into the projects. There will be two field trips each week. One weekly field trip will be sponsored and supported by Great Parks of Hamilton County. The 2nd field trip will include a visit to Krohn Conservatory for the Butterfly exhibit\, a behind the scenes zoo visit\, the aquarium\, and the Museum Center. The cost of this 2nd field trip is not included in the weekly cost. The six week camp will culminate in a showcase on Thursday\, July 21st and an overnight camp experience on Friday\, July 22nd. \nThere will also be an after-camp component. It will run from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. at $10 a day or $50 a week. Activities will include entrepreneurship\, archery\, soccer\, and more. \nTo register for this camp\, please complete and submit the electronic form below.
