SUMMARY:Building STEA²M Summer Break Camp 2020
DESCRIPTION:The Building STEA²M Summer Break Camp will be held at New Prospect from June 1st – July 31st\, Monday – Friday\, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.  The cost of the camp is $110 per week/per camper.  Breakfast\, lunch and a snack are included in the price.  There is also a $30 registration fee per child\, which will save their spot and includes a camp t-shirt.\n\n\n\nThis is for children between the ages of 6-13.  Each day includes hands-on design challenges that focus on engineering disciplines and STEA²M (Science\, Technology\, Engineering\, Arts\, Agriculture and Math).  Activities include chess\, yoga\, science & robotics projects and gardening. Camp themes are below (themes are subject to change).\n\n\n\nWe will follow all COVID-19 safety protocols including masks for everyone\, 6 feet distancing and regular cleaning.  Before care (7:30 – 8:30 a.m.) & after care (4:30 – 5:30 p.m.) are available for an additional $3 each time or $6.00/day.  COVID-19 restrictions limit the number of campers we can admit\, so register today.\n\n\n\nRegistration can be completed at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/STEA2MCAMP2020 or by paper application available at the church.  Payments can be made via PayPal using the stea2mcamp@yahoo.com  email address.  A 10% discount will be given to families committing to at least 7 weeks and paying in full before June 8th.   The discount will be applied to the 7th week’s payment.  For planning purposes\, weekly payment must be made by the Wednesday before each week of camp.\n\n\n\nContact the church\, 513.721.2355\, Christy Thompson 513.252.5155 or Simone Bess 513.720.2323 for more information.  ***Note: Temporary Church hours are 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.\, Monday-Friday.***\n\nEach week there will be a Special Focus.\n\n 	Week 1: Intro to STEA²M\n 	Week 2: Our Footprint\n 	Week 3: The Great Outdoors\n 	Week 4: Biology & Beauty\n 	Week 5: Neuroscience\n 	Week 6-8: Robotics\n 	Week 9: Sports of All Sorts\n\nThere will be showcases to allow students to display and/or discuss their work.  The showcases are currently scheduled for July 3rd & July 31st\, 4 p.m. – 5 p.m.
